Mobile Physiotherapy Service
Restore Rehabilitation is a mobile Physiotherapy Service offering Home Based Rehabilitation across Melbourne. We visit client’s homes and other settings such as residential care.
Our Physiotherapists have extensive experience in Aged Care, General Rehabilitation and Neurological Physiotherapy
We work with clients who have general reconditioning needs, including building strength, improving mobility and endurance. We assess balance and mobility, and prescribe mobility aids as required. In clients with a history of falls, we provide comprehensive assessment of risk factors and work with the client to improve their strength and balance. We treat Neurological conditions such as Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. We work with clients who have had a recent illness, injury or hospital stay, and with clients that have a long term, or chronic condition.
Why home based therapy?
It can be difficult for clients to access centre based Physiotherapy and in this case, it may be more convenient for the therapy to be completed in the client’s own home. Clients may also have goals related to functional difficulties at home or in their immediate community, and therapy conducted in and around the home ensures these goals can be met.
Referrals
To enquire or refer to our service, please complete the “contact us” form below. Clients, or families can self refer or be referred by their Medical Practitioners or Allied Health Professional. Clients can be funded privately or through other funding sources including home care packages. NDIS, WorkCover, TAC and DVA. Gap fee may apply for EPC referrals.
